You know it's going to be a great day. . .

. . . when this is your first conversation:

Mari
Hey, A.v.E. Can you fix the Windows Media Player on my computer?

A.v.E
No.

Mari
Why not?

A.v.E
You don't need it. If it was a problem with Oracle, I can fix that. If ReCaps is slow, I'd be more than happy to look at your PC. Windows Media Player? No dice.

Mari
Come on.

A.v.E
You don't need Windows Media Player. This is work. You can't be streaming the 92.3 Web cast. You don't need to be listening to Trey the Chocolate Jock with the Freakin' Puerto Rican Morning Show. You're at the office and should act accordingly.

You're here to do your job, not to try to win tickets to the Chris Brown concert next weekend at Northerly Island where you and a friend will be picked up in a limo, given VIP treatment, and recieve backstage passes to meet Chris Brown along with his entourage.

I don't even know who Chris Brown is but they always have tickets to his show. Is he here monthly, or is it one show that they've been promoting for the past year? Honestly, you would think I'd heard at least one of his songs.
