Define Community.

Revolving Doors.

When utilizing a revolving door, one will glance to see if anybody is approaching from the opposite side. If the coast is clear, you simply push forth with all your might and try to see if you can break something. Anything.

If another is approaching the revolving door, there’s a quick delay where the entrant and the vacatee will lock eyes, give a slight nod, then enter on opposite foot in perfect syncopation. Moments later, the two arrive at their destination . . .this time.

And there it was. Empathy. Understanding. Collective Effort. All towards a shared goal.

Outside the revolving door we’re as empty, alienated and selfish as usual.
