Confessions of a Movie Elitist.

From 1987 'til 1990, my favorite movie was Mannequin.

It fulfilled every sense my six years on the planet had developed. I wanted to be as relaxed and as funny as Andrew McCarthy. (I hated my hair for not being able to achieve the same "flip" that he oh-so casually taunted.) The outline of Kim Cattrall lying nude in a hammock ushered in my sexuality as well as developed my relaxation-sex fetish. (There are literally dozens of us!) Add to this an animated opening credit sequence and the face-ripping (Academy Award Winning) "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now."

It would reign supreme until a trip over the bridge to Discount Video would yield Goodfellas.
