Much of my workday. . .

. . . is spent leisurely sauntering throughout the loop while Peter Gabriel's "Big Time" plays in my head.

On today's third stroll, I saw a sign. Against a backdrop of the American flag, it read, "Take Your City Back. Vote Harvey Dent." My heart sank. Harvey was a good man. His presence as a respectable, well-liked member of his community (and era) is evident in any archive footage. Here was a political figure who made no apologies for who he was, and allowed a community to do the same. The snapshot that comes to mind at the mention of his name is of this beautiful person, smiling.

Then I realized I was thinking of Harvey Milk.

Two-Face deserved everything he got.
